My 'Fourth of the Basement' Studio

Picture
This is me, trampled by turtles.  And ravens.  And soon to be, goats, my third totem animal.  They're everywhere in the house, outside the house, in the greenhouse.  Yup, the greenhouse!  That's where the electric kiln is.  The raku kiln is in the garage and I fire that up in the driveway.  The neighbors watch and wonder.

My clay studio is a place to come at any time of the day, in any type of attire, in any state of mind, and play with clay.  Sometimes I just go down with a cup of early morning coffee and walk around and look at everything, talking to myself, answering myself, and sometimes, even talking to one or two of the turtles, or the ravens that are perched on them.
